Adventure Riding CAMP

All you need to know to get started:
This package is specifically designed for the beginner with no off-road riding experience seeking a course that does it all in one ! Learn how to import electronic track plots, navigate your motorcycle using GPS, learn and apply basic adventure riding techniques over the next two days and perform basic bike repairs on your own.
We cover a variety of hands on riding skills including dynamic group riding concepts to cover ground efficiently, safely, and enjoyably whilst in the back country. This course is taught in Victoria and begins with an introduction into motorcycle geometry, physics and theoretical adventure riding concepts. The latter will be held via video conference Friday night. Saturday will be entirely dedicated to spending time practicing adventure riding skills. Sunday will consist of half a day classroom practicing route planning using GPS software and Google Earth while the second part of the day is dedicated to performing basic motorcycle repairs and a GPS navigation ride. Our expert guides are always present with low ratios ,ensuring you make the most of your experience at AMA and leave with a result you're proud of!
Getting Here and Overview:
All of our workshops take place in Victoria, BC, on the date specified in your booking. The Adventure camp starts with a classroom session on Friday night. The following two days are dedicated towards applying GPS navigation- and adventure riding techniques on non paved roads and perform basic repairs such as changing tires and suspension adjustments in the evening.
Experience and Requirements:
Basic road riding skills, DOT approved helmet and riding gear, valid motorcycle drivers license, a WIN laptop and Garmin GPS (also available upon request ) & BYOM (Bring your own motorcycle) or contact us for a small displacement rental bike !

Coffee, Snacks & Lunch for the duration of the program, as well as an AMA Guide to provide the help you need! Basic repair tools and group campsite included for participants wishing to stay at location overnight (bring own camping gear). AMA does not provide fuel. Options for renting motorcycles (additional fees apply) exist, please contact ahead of time. We are happy to facilitate rental bikes depending on availability.
