Vancouver Island's finest:
The Trans-Canada Trail weaves it's way across the country, connecting all three of our oceans through an extensive trail and road network. Vancouver Island's supports a section that heads from Victoria to Port Hardy, the Island's northernmost town. Weaving your way through the Island's rugged spine, across countless gravel roads and adventure trails, keeping an eye out for the region's abundant wildlife - bears, elk, eagles, and deer to name a few !

Riding is diverse and follows highways as well as gravel roads. According to your guide's discretion, and due to a variety of reasons such as precipitation, area closures, and group size, your group may have the opportunity to visit several of Vancouver Island's largest and most well-known Provincial Parks.
The areas we cover may include Strathcona, Woss & Schoen Lake parks, as well as numerous sea-to-sky vistas in between. We will spend the first 3.5 days of our trip riding off road and drop in for a half day whale watching in Telegraph Cove (optional , additional costs apply). The last day is finally dedicated to a scenic ride along BC's scenic Highway 19 and 19a to our Victoria base.

Accommodation
Due to the remoteness of the trip we offer a blend of glamping (glamour camping) and lodge based accommodation. Bring your own tent and sleeping bag and spend the night under the stars. Camp sites, full meals, chairs, tables and a support vehicle will be provided. If you need to rent camping gear, we have you covered for an additional fee of 60$ per day. The camping gear includes a warm sleeping bag, cotton liner, an inflatable mattress and a high quality 2- person tents (for couples we provide 3- person tents).

Beginners Welcome
We have spent a significant amount of time selecting routes allowing novices to slowly adapt to riding on non-paved surfaces. This allows participants to gain confidence over time and gradually improve their skills on a daily bases.
Terrain
Riding is varied, and includes asphalt and open gravel roads
