Registration

• Submitting a registration form or booking does not confirm availability nor participation on a tour

• All prices are in Canadian Dollars (Taxes excluded)

• Travel costs to and from Vancouver Island outside of the activity are not included 

• Amaruq Motorcycle Adventures requires the following deposits:

Guided trips or workshops of no more than one day:    Full payment

Guided trips or workshops equal to two days:        $  500.00CAN*

Guided trips or workshops more than two days:     $1000.00CAN*

Cancellation Policy

• Amaruq Motorcycle Adventures recommends all riders protect their financial situation by purchasing travel insurance on their tour package with Amaruq Motorcycle Adventures and accompanying logistics with a trip insurance policy. Amaruq Motorcycle Adventures is not responsible for a participant’s inability to attend a tour due to any circumstance whether they’d be health, family or environmental.

• If a tour is canceled by Amaruq Motorcycle Adventures ahead of departure because of lack of participation all deposits and balance payments are 100% transferable and refundable.

• Cancellations for guided trips of equal or more than two days in duration and initiated by the participant received in writing  to info@amaruqmotorcycleadventures.com with more than 60 days notice before tour start date will receive their deposit as a credit to be used towards future tours or services with Amaruq Motorcycle Adventures. The credit expires 1 year after issued. Exceptions apply if Covid-19 travel restrictions do not allow for travelling in BC during the time of travel and 60 days before the travel date . In this case any deposit will be reimbursed in full. 

• Cancellations for guided trips of more than two days initiated by the participant received in writing to info@amaruqmotorcycleadventures.com with 60 or less days notice before the tour start date will forfeit their deposit as a cancellation fee. Any balance payments can be held on file as a credit to be used towards future tours and services with Amaruq Motorcycle Adventures. The Credit expires 1 year after issued. 

• Cancellations for motorcycle rentals or guided trips initiated by the participant received in writing to info@amaruqmotorcycleadventures.com with 30 or less days notice before the tour/workshop start date will forfeit their deposit and any balance payments as a cancellation fee. 

• Amaruq Motorcycle Adventures reserves the right to refuse a client to sign up for an event due to existing charges such as excessive speeding or other relevant charges.   

• Amaruq Motorcycle Adventures reserves the right to deviate from planned routes if we feel that riders do not have sufficient skills or environmental conditions do not allow for safe travel (weather, fire, flooding etc... ).

• Amaruq Motorcycle Adventures reserves the right to cancel a participant’s tour during the tour or workshop if the participant is disruptive or putting themselves or others in harms way. No refund or credit will be issued.

OPTIONAL MOTORCYCLES PROVIDED (RENTALS)

• You can expect that vehicles will be in  decent optical and technical condition. We are aware that riding off-road sometimes creates minor scratches and dents for which we are not charging our clients, so be aware that our bikes may have small imperfections. In any case, we take images before and after a trip for documentation purposes. Panniers, tank bags, crash bars and hand guards are provided for the duration of the trip/workshop.

• Submitting a request for a vehicle does not confirm vehicle availability nor participation on a tour

• A valid, full BC drivers license class 6 (or international drivers license for motorcycles) is required

• Participants are required to wear protective gear (specifically designed for riding motorcycles) during riding activities. This explicitly includes a DOT approved helmet 

• Be at least 19 years of age

• Rental Motorcycle can only be provided during guided trips, workshops or courses and cannot be used for self guided trips

• Rental Motorcycles cannot be used for self guided trips

• All prices listed are in Canadian dollars

• Prices include motorcycle rental fees (+tax)and a mandatory road insurance (5,000,000$ liability, comprehensive & collision) for a single or multi day use. The maximum deductible for a damaged motorcycle is 500$.

• A full tank of gas will be provided

• Fuel is not included. It is expected that optional bikes are returned with a full tank of gas

• Riding gear is not included(Helmet, Jacket, Pants, Boots, Gloves)

• A safety deposit of CAN 500$ may be charged before trip begin. This will be used to covering a maximum deductible of 500$ for damages to the rental motorcycle.

• AMA will provide basic tools and assist in minor repairs (chain tension, tire puncture, minor repairs)during trips. One set of tire tubes will be available at no charge. 

• All rental vehicles need to be cleaned and returned at the specified date and no later than 7:00pm local time including a full tank of gas. An additional fee of 50$ plus tax will be charged for excessive dirt on the vehicle. Vehicles  that require topping up of fuel incur an additional fee including the price to top up fuel based on the local price for gas + 20%  

• Road assist, medical insurance and travel insurance are not included
